Gabriel's Heat Stove

INSTRUCTION MANUAL for GABRIEL'S HEAT STOVE

Gabriel's Cabin has a propane powered heat stove that is managed by the thermostat on the post by the kitchen. You can hear the hum of the pilot light when it is on. If you find that the heater is not turning on and the temperature is dropping the pilot light may have gone out. Here's the instructions to get that back on.

Open the bottom of the stove to see the knobs under the stove.

  • To the far left is a round knob that says "on" "off" and "pilot".

  • Turn this knob to "pilot" facing to the bottom.

  • On the far right is a long red button that will provide the spark.

  • Push in the "pilot" knob while you push in the red button a few times.

  • Listen for the sound and look out for the pilot to light inside the stove.

  • Turn the knob on the left back to the "on" position.

  • Repeat these steps until the pilot light stays lit and the heat comes back on.
